As with many areas of insurance, deciphering Medicare plans can be confusing. October 15 through December 7 is the Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare which is the time of year when you can make changes to your plan.
That’s where we can help.
A licensed insurance agent from Peel & Holland can explain the available plans to ensure you obtain the best possible health care coverage for your current needs. There is no cost to review your options, and we are confident we will be able to answer your Medicare plan questions and put your mind at ease.
Together, our licensed agent can review your:
- Prescription drug coverage
- Doctor & hospital networks
- Plan benefits & supplemental coverage
- Monthly premiums
When you talk about Medicare, a lot of the terminology may be new to you. So, we have created a simple Medicare Glossary to help you make sense of it all. It’s OK to be unfamiliar with the lingo. Peel & Holland’s team is here to help you select the right coverage to meet your specific needs. There is no need to stress about Medicare!
Medicare Supplement Insurance
Medicare supplement insurance plans (also called “Medigap”) from private insurers complement your Medicare coverage. These plans help cover some of your out-of-pocket expenses not paid by Medicare. Standardized Medicare supplement insurance plan (Medigap) benefits are set by the federal government. That means the basic benefit structure for each plan is the same, no matter which insurance company is selling it to you.
With any Medicare supplement plan:
- You get help with covering some of your out-of-pocket expenses not paid by Medicare.
- You’re able to keep your own doctor as long as they accept Medicare patients.
- There are no referrals required.
- Coverage goes with you when you travel in the U.S.
Please don’t stress with all the details of Medicare. We are here to help you.
