While we were unable meet in person for this NEXT STEPS Leadership Workshop, we are still committed to developing leaders in our local communities, so we did the next best thing and produced our first NEXT STEPS Leadership Workshop Online. Our topic for this May 7, 2020 online event was “The Motivation to Serve Others: Lead by Putting People First.” Peel & Holland President Roy Riley and Heartland Church Pastor of Discipleship and Connections Nate Williams led a penal discussion on what servant-based leadership can look like, especially in times like these.
Think about what motivates you as a leader. Do you lead for the right reasons? Are you focused on empowering others? Now more than ever, leaders face challenges of supporting their teams with compassion and putting them first. This online workshop brings you local panelists who share their take on what it means to “put people first.” You’ll hear some practical tips for improving relationships and serving others in a season of crisis.
